A Sport betting system: Strategy to Success in Sports Betting

A working sport betting system generates long-term profit by following a specific sports betting strategy. There are a lot of betting systems, however most of them do not work or only work for a short period of time (in other words: luck!).

We will describe three different sport betting systems that have proven themselves over a long period of time and two of them are even scientifically backed.

The three systems we will be looking at are:

·         Trading on Betfair

·         Backing unpopular favourites

·         Sports arbitrage betting

Trading on Betfair

A fun betting system is trading on Betfair. It is an active betting system and it is not hard to make a profit with it. The most important thing is that you understand why the odds are moving, so you can predict how they move. If you are not sure, there is a bunch of software out there, that can help you predict the movement of the odds. What trading actually is and you can make can profit it with is perfectly explained in this video.

If you are interested in this sports betting system you might want to check out our partner Geeks Toy, since they have made the best trading software out there. You can try their software 14 days for free.

Backing unpopular favourites

A lot of people bet on the team they like not so much on the team that has the best odds. You can make advantage of this. It is scientifically proven that teams with a large fan base have on average lower odds. Also favourites have on average a higher return than longshots (team that will likely lose).

This means that if you back favourite teams with a small fan base you have an edge over the most other punters out there. More information about this proven method can be found on our biases in odds page.

Our favourite sport betting system:
Sports betting arbitrage

On this website you can find a lot of sports betting advice about a long-term profit making betting system called sports arbitrage betting, also known as surebetting. An arbitrage bet is a bet placed before the match with a guaranteed small profit. This is done by selecting the highest odds for each outcome. The odds need to be high enough to make it an arbitrage bet. If you would like to know more about this scientifically backed system you could read our introduction to sports betting arbitrage page.
